Who processes your data

YOUR3DPROJECT, a distributed manufacturing project based in Italy. For any request concerning your data, write to ur3dproject@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

We only collect the data you give us voluntarily. There's no profiling, no advertising, and we neither sell nor share data with third parties. We don't process payment data: in the preview, paying for a quote is simulated and asks for no data.

• Printer registration — name, email, phone number, city and approximate location, printers, materials, hours spent printing and your answer about what you like printing. They're used to assess the request and get back to you. An account is created along with the request: we don't keep the password, our authentication provider holds it as a hash. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request.
• Public profile and work — the name shown on the profile, the city, the introduction, the links you choose to publish and the photos of the work you upload. This data is public by definition: anyone opening your profile sees it. Phone and email never appear. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested, and your consent for the part you choose to make visible — you can hide the profile or delete a piece at any time from your area.
• Dashboard data — the machines, nozzles and spools you log. They stay private: they don't appear on the public profile and only serve to run the inventory and the printability check.
• Quote and WhatsApp — the quote is worked out in your browser: the choices you make and the STL files you upload don't reach us. If you decide to message us on WhatsApp we receive the message you send, your number and any photos or files you attach, and we use them to prepare your offer. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request.
• Business contact form — company name, your name, email, website if you give it, what you sell and a rough number of orders per month. They're only used to reply to you. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request.
• Old waiting list — until August 2026 the site collected emails from people who wanted to be told when orders opened. That service no longer exists: the form has been removed and the emails collected back then are not used for any purpose. They will be deleted; if you're among them and want that to happen now, write to us.

How long we keep it

Account and profile data for the duration of the relationship, and up to 12 months if the registration request doesn't go through. Photos of your work until you delete them: deleting a piece removes the file too. When an account is closed we delete everything within 30 days. Business contacts and WhatsApp conversations are kept for up to 12 months after the last exchange, if no relationship comes of them.

Where it goes

Data is stored on the infrastructure hosting the site (Vercel Inc.), in the project's database and image store (Supabase) and in the project's mailbox (Google); if you message us on WhatsApp, also with Meta, which runs that service. These providers may process data outside the European Union on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies — the session for whoever signs in to their area — and one local storage item to remember your choice on the banner. No analytics or marketing cookie is active today. Cookie details.

Your rights

You can at any time ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format or object to processing, by writing to ur3dproject@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
